Kelly Case is a Director for Strategy for Humanity Education Fund (StratFund), a nonprofit that provides charitable support for the work of individuals and organizations that are dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of people, communities, and nations all over the world. Through small grants, Strat Fund invests in initiatives that enhance rights, improve justice, and strengthen the well-being of individuals and communities globally.  Strat Fund resources enable recipients to unleash creativity, share knowledge, support their community, engage diverse participants, develop effective strategies, and achieve meaningful results. She brings great expertise on nonprofit management, domestically and internationally. 

In addition, Kelly is currently serving as a Managing Director at Strategy for Humanity LLC.  She specializes in women-inclusive peace and security processes, trauma awareness, resilience, gender equality, equal access and opportunities for girls and adolescents, and prevention and response to sexual and gender-based violence. Kelly has extensive experience creating and conducting trainings in multicultural settings, heading programs that promote citizen engagement, working with policymakers in countries impacted by conflict, and facilitating greater empowerment for civil society to be agents of change. She also has facilitating multi-stakeholder workshops, designed and implemented monitoring and evaluation mechanisms, managed large programs with teams of national and international staff and multi-million dollar budgets, and identified and helped achieve domestic and foreign policy priorities.  

As an expert consultant, Kelly has worked with clients to develop robust curriculum on gender and women’s leadership, create and implement qualitative evaluations, conduct research and write reports on gender and violent extremism, and design and carry out training on gender integration. Kelly's recent clients have included: One Earth Future Foundation's Our Secure Future, Elevate Children Funder's Group, The American University Washington College of Law's Syrian Initiative to Combat Sexual Violence, George Washington University's Global Women's Institute, Women's Democracy Initiative of the International Republican Institute, and the Navanti Group. ​

Previously, Kelly was Deputy Director for Africa programs at Inclusive Security, a DC-based organization dedicated to increasing the inclusion of women in peace and security processes around the world. With government and civil society, she worked within East Africa, including in South Sudan and Sudan, to create or improve government-wide strategies on inclusion. She oversaw all aspects of the programmatic work, grant management, and strategic direction. Before joining Inclusive Security, Kelly worked for the American Red Cross where, as part of the Investigative Fraud Unit, she pursued cases of waste and abuse in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. Subsequently, she became Special Assistant to the President of Humanitarian Services at the American Red Cross where she focused on designing and coordinating the restructuring of the nationwide field network to be more effective and streamlined. In addition, she has worked with Palestinian and Israeli youth on programs that promote understanding and activism and in the Great Lakes region of Africa on sustainable development and equal access to education.
 
Kelly holds a Master’s degree in conflict analysis and resolution from George Mason University, a Practitioner Certificate from Eastern Mennonite University in strategies for trauma awareness and resilience, and a Bachelor’s degree in psychology and art history from Lafayette College.
